This past Saturday Nike released these Air Jordan 4 ($160). While these kicks have been out for a while in a range of colorways, this dark grey and green glow variant was a never before seen colorway to hit sneaker shops, and went by quickly. These retro-designed shoes are based on the silhouette that first brought Jordans to the global market, and were made famous when MJ wore them in game five of the 1989 NBA First Round against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Specifically, black works the heel, midsole border, and lining, while that intriguing “glow” shade of green works the lace crowns, outsole, and branding.
Yes, I did a pair. I ordered a pair from Finish Line and they should be here later this week, when I update with actual pictures of the shoe and boxing. I ran into a lot of issues trying to order online but somehow it finally worked which I was glad about. I have purchased many shows over the last 12 months but haven’t had quite the success I have in the past with Jordan releases.
